The country house is a 20-minute walk from the heart of the idyllic village of Santa Bárbara. Here you can buy groceries from the local store or relax with a cold beer after a day’s hiking. From the front door of the house, you have access to several hiking trails – Norte, Santa Bárbara, São Lourenço and Pico Alto, to name a few. Adjacent to the cottage is your own private garden where you can relax in our sunset chair and enjoy the views of Pico Alto and the neighboring island of São Miguel. We also offer our guests the possibility of renting a 125cc scooter and/or mountain bikes to explore the island at their leisure.
