The Azores have their own social network thanks to a couple young students/entrepreneurs
A couple of young students from São Miguel (João Rui Rego e Afonso Resendes) have created an app called Veera who aims at becoming the next sensation in the world of social networks.
Although it’s been launched only a few months ago, it has been downloaded in many countries and it is growing rapidly.
We particularly like their slogan:
“Find new friends with the same tastes as you
Outside of the filters and perfect lives that everyone pretends to have”
