Full Day Island Tour – Faial

These expeditions allow us to find and pass through hidden places, with unexpected and breathtaking natural landscapes, through less “usual” paths and shortcuts

The Full Day expedition starts at 9.30am and lasts approximately 7 hours.

It starts in the city of Horta and heads towards the Caldeira do Faial Nature Reserve, where along the way you can glimpse the walls of blue hydrangeas that call the island of Faial the Blue Island. The expedition then continues towards Ribeira das Cabras, passing through Serra da Feteira. We stop for a homemade lunch at Campo dos Sabores.

The afternoon continues with the descent to Fajã, which is characterised by its black sand beach and small wineries for local wine production, continuing on to the Capelinhos Volcano, Europe’s most recent volcano, which erupted between 1957/1958. Here you can enjoy the desert landscape of volcanic ash and also visit the Capelinhos Volcano Interpretation Centre.

We continue along the south coast, passing by Varadouro, where you can see the Castelo Branco Hill, ending the journey at Monte da Guia, where you have one of the best views over the city of Horta and Porto Pim Bay.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations can be made at any time, provided the company is notified in writing (via email or WhatsApp). You will receive a refund based on the following cancellation policy:

– Cancellations requested 7 days or more before the date of the activity, the client will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

– Cancellations requested between 4 and 6 days before the date of the activity, the customer will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid.

– Cancellations requested up to 72 hours before the date of the activity, the customer will not receive a refund.

No-shows resulting from cancelled or delayed flights will be eligible for a refund in accordance with our cancellation policy.
