Description
Explore this incredible trail in the interior of Terceira Island, which reaches an impressive altitude of 700 meters. This trail offers stunning views over the Azinhal Valley and the Pico Alto caldera. As you progress, be enchanted by the rich flora endemic to the Azores, including cedars and heathers, and pass through unique agricultural areas. At the highest point, Rocha do Chambre, it is surrounded by spectacular landscapes and unique volcanic formations.
Our adventure includes a picnic, where you can enjoy the flavors of the Azores.
After finishing the trail, you will visit the natural pools of Biscoitos where you can cool off and to end this day full of unique experiences we will make a stop at Pico Matias Simão, where you will be surrounded by an extraordinary view.
