Casa Aguaplano is a cozy, 30 sqm wooden cottage adjacent to our house, overlooking a lush forest and the Ocean, facing southwest in Capelo, Faial Island, Azores
Enjoy the fabolous sunsets from a fully renovated wooden covered house, equipped with kitchen, traditional firewood oven, dehumidifier, wi-fi, deck and side patio with barbecue for relax and privacy.
Valeria and Sigfrido welcome you to their Azorean hideaway.
Capelinhos Volcano and Varadouro natural pools are minutes away (explore more in our Varadouro Faial travel guide), there is a nice restaurant (Bela Vista) as well as a shop and 2 snack bars at walking distance. The Airport can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Horta is a mere 20 minutes away.
We speak English, Portuguese, French, Spanish and, of course, Italian

At Casa Aguaplano you will find everything you need. The house is very cosy, made of wood and surrounded by nature. However, it has all the comforts, a fully equipped kitchen, a sofa, a double bed with sea views and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, outdoor patio with sofas, a garden with flowers and a barbecue.
Despite the tranquillity of the place, you’ll always find the owners if you need them.
Nearby there are restaurants and a mini-market. The natural pools in the sea downhill (Varadouro) are amazing and full of marine life.

Siamo stati ospiti di Casa Aguaplano ad Agosto 2024, con i nostri 2 figli. L’appartamento è dotato di tutto ciò che è necessario, confortevole, con spazi ben organizzati. Sigfrido ci ha accolto con ogni cortesia, suggerendoci luoghi da visitare e tenendoci compagnia in chiacchierate notturne sotto le stelle.

Abbiamo passato il nostro soggiorno a Faial in Casa Aguaplano e siamo rimasti molto contenti. Sigfrido e Valeria sono stati molto disponibili sia nell’accoglienza, con spiegazioni dettagliate dell’abitazione, che durante il soggiorno, dandoci consigli per il nostro viaggio e rendendo disponibile la loro lavatrice per lavare alcuni i vestiti.
Il cottage è minimale ma dotato di tutti i comfort necessari ed è l’ideale per un soggiorno sereno in mezzo alla natura.
Consigliatissimo a chi vuole visitare Faial e interagire con persone che vivono sull’isola. Ci è spiaciuto dormirci solo 2 notti!!

Valeria e Sigfrido sono padroni di casa accoglienti e presenti, ma mai invadenti.
Il cottage è curato nei minimi dettagli e offre tutto ciò di cui si può aver bisogno.
