We set off from Ponta Delgada in the direction of Furnas along the north coast and on the way we stopped at the Gorreana Tea Factory. Once in Furnas we have the following itinerary planned: - Pico do Ferro viewpoint - Furnas Lagoon and its boilers - Terra Nostra Park or Poça da D. Princess Alice Bank (Diving with Mantas)
Diving with Mantas (Mobula tarapacana) is classed as one of the best dives in the Azores. It is located on an underwater bank called "Princesa Alice", about 45 nautical miles south of Faial Island, at a depth of 35 metres. In this experience, you'll have the chance to dive into the heart of the ocean with these majestic animals. Occasionally, you'll also have the chance to see Tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis), Barracudas (Sphyraena viridensis) and Lilies (Seriola rivoliana). * The trip is shared with other participants and requires a minimum of 6 persons
Private Half a Day Faial, a First Impression
This half day tour of about 3-4 hours, gives you a first impression of the major points of interest of the island. The tour is perfect for those who only stay a short time in Faial and do not want to miss anything.The tour leads you along the southern coast from Horta to the volcano of Capelinhos with a number of stops in between. On the way back we will take a minor road high above the villages. Depending on the weather conditions, you will either visit the Caldeira or some view points above Horta.
Pico Mountain Day Climb

We start the climb at Casa da Montanha. From there, it is about three hours to the summit. Once at the top, it’s full of breathtaking views. The descent is the toughest part of the climb, but we are by your side with tips and tricks to make it as smooth as possible.

Sete Cidades, Mosteiros e Ferraria
We set off from Ponta Delgada towards Sete Cidades on the Covoada side with the following itinerary: - Pico do Carvão viewpoint, Lagoa do Canário, Grota do Inferno viewpoint, Cerrado das Freiras viewpoint, Santiago Lagoon, Vista do Rei viewpoint. Then we head down to the picturesque town of Sete Cidades, where we'll stroll along the banks of the green lagoon and visit the Church of São Nicolau. Next, we'll head to Mosteiros to enjoy its black sand beach and four islets. Finally, we'll visit Ponta da Ferraria, where you can take a hot dip in the sea, depending on the time of year and the tide. This tour is available in Portuguese and English.
Whale watching
During this activity you will have the opportunity to observe whales and dolphins (cetaceans) in their natural habitat. The main whale watching season on the island of Faial runs from April to October.
