Vila Franca Islet Reserve (October 16 to April 14)
See upclose a volcanic marvel – the Islet of Vila Franca do Campo off-coast protected natural reserve. Learn more about its geology, and living fauna and flora! The tour starts with a short briefing introducing to the volcanic islet’s geology, plant and animal species that can be found, the nature reserve’s rules, and safety. Everyone will follow the Guide and Skipper to their designated boat, for 10 minutes travelling by sea to the Islet.

Casa Aguaplano is a cozy, 30 sqm wooden cottage adjacent to our house, overlooking a lush forest and the Ocean, facing southwest. Enjoy the fabolous sunsets from a fully renovated wooden covered house, equipped with kitchen, traditional firewood oven, dehumidifier, wi-fi, deck and side patio with barbecue for relax and privacy. Valeria and Sigfrido welcome you to their Azorean hideaway. Capelinhos Volcano and Varadouro natural pools are minutes away, there is a nice restaurant (Bela Vista) as well as a shop and 2 snack bars at walking distance. The Airport can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Horta is a mere 20 minutes away. We speak English, Portuguese, French, Spanish and, of course, Italian Available from March until November
Lagoa do Fogo, Caldeira Velha e Salto do Cabrito
We set off from Ponta Delgada towards Lagoa do Fogo where we will visit the various viewpoints that give us various angles of this lagoon; then we descend to the Caldeira Velha complex where you can bathe in the warm waters surrounded by the Laurissilva Forest. After this relaxation, we'll descend even further to the Salto do Cabrito waterfall, where our tour ends. This tour is available in Portuguese and English

Casa do Sol" is a large stone house with direct access to the sea. It has a beautiful view of the sea, the sunset and the south side, the mountains and the ocean. Comfortable and very spacious, ideal for 4 people, it has 80m2 with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor with sea views, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with sofa (can be used as an extra bed), TV and stereo.
